Margarida Matos Rosa
About:
An economist, Margarida Matos Rosa until recently served as the President of the Portuguese Autoridade da Concorrência. Prior to her appointment to lead the AdC, she was a Director of the Collective Investment Management Supervision Department of the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM). Previously, she was advisor to the Board of the CMVM with a focus on the areas of systemic risk, asset management and international securities regulation. She also worked in the banking sector. Margarida was a Fulbright grantee at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She holds a degree in Economics from Université Catholique de Louvain and MA in Public Affairs from Princeton University.
