If you wish to join our events or programmes, we ask for information such as your name, e-mail address, professional title and organisation. We use this information to manage your participation in our events or programmes based on your request. If you so decide, we may also use the information to communicate with you about other events and topics we believe may be of interest to you

When you contact or are contacted by us, we may collect information such as your name, e-mail address, professional title and organisation, and records of correspondence. We use this information to respond to and communicate with you about your questions and comments based on your request or on our legitimate interest to interact with our members..

 

When you contribute to our blogs

You may be able to contribute or submit comments to blogs we host on our Site.  You may include personal data in your post or comment such as your name.  We use your name and any other information you submit to the extent necessary to manage our blogs based on our legitimate interest in facilitating exchanges of views and connecting with each other.

In addition, we may disclose information about you (i) if we are required to do so by law or legal process (such as a court order), (ii) in response to a request by law enforcement authorities, or (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity. 

 

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

 

Security safeguards

We maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the personal data you provide to us against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access.

The personal data we collect through the Site are stored in the European Union. You also may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us.  If you do so, this will not affect the lawfulness of our use of your information based on your consent before its withdrawal.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our platform and Site are not directed to children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of eighteen (18) on the Site.  If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal data from a visitor under the age of eighteen (18) on this Site, we will delete the information from our records.
