Manage Mercado Libre’s Data Privacy Program at Brazil and suport business units locally. Also provide guidance and thought to leadership on topics related to the privacy requirements and implementation of Privacy By Desing on e-commerce and finance products and services. Act as a partner with cross-function regional teams and provide advice on data privacy requirements ensuring compliance with corporate standards, privacy and data protection laws and regulations, including LGPD, GDPR, CCPA, Open Finance, Leys de Proteccíon de los Datos Personales, among othres. Develop, implemente and review data privacy policies and program to ensure data privacy compliance for personal information collection, processing, transfer and disclosure. Conduct and review of Data Privacy Impact Assessment locally. Also conduct privacy trainings and promote privacy culture. Advocate before the national government, ministries, agencies, and parliament on behalf of Mercado Libre’s to represent the Mercado Libre’s interests with regulators regarding data privacy legislation, regulations and requirements. Ensure transparency on Data Privacy Program, especially in the exercise of data subjects rights, even go beyond the law requirements.
