Griet Jans

Chief Economist at the Belgian Competition Authority (BCA). Griet supervises economic analyses in merger and antitrust investigations, in a broad range of sectors. She contributes to the development of screening methods and internal training programs of the BCA. Before joining the BCA, she worked as economic expert and policy advisor on competitiveness and innovation at IDEA Consult. Griet holds a MSc in Economics from University of Leuven, where she also conducted research on IO-models.
