Elisabetta Iossa

Commissioner at the Italian Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato since February 2022. She is also a full Professor of Economics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” (on leave), Research Fellow at the C.E.P.R.(London), GREEN-Bocconi, and member of the Executive Committee of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (E.A.R.I.E.). She obtained a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Naples “Federico II”, an M.Sc. in Economics at the University of York, and a T.M.R. Marie Curie Post-doc European Fellowship at the Universitè Libre de Bruxelles (E.C.A.R.E.S.) As researcher, she has assisted international institutions such as: EC, EBRD, UK CC, UK FSA, OECD, OFT, IFAD, IADB, WB.
