Dr. Andrea Jelinek

Chair of the European Data Protection Board. Director of the Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde - Austrian Data Protection Authority since 2014. From October 2010 to June 2011 she was head of the Vienna Foreign Police, followed by a position as Head in the Regional Police Department. Before that, in 2003, she was the first woman in Vienna to be appointed head of a police commissioner's office. She has also worked at the Ministry of the Interior as head of  legal and legislative department.
