Amelia Fletcher, CBE
About:
Professor of Competition Policy at the University of East Anglia. She is also a Research Fellow at the Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE) and an editor of the Journal of Competition Law and Economics. Former Non-Executive Director at the CMA. Previously Chief Economist at the OFT, NED at the FCA and PSR, and an enforcement decision-maker at Ofgem. Co-author of the influential 'Furman Report'. Amelia's research focuses on competition policy and regulation in digital markets, with a focus on behavioural economics. She has a DPhil and MPhil in economics from Nuffield College, Oxford. She was awarded OBE in 2014 and CBE in 2020.
