DACH Panel Discussion – Current Experiences with Relative Market Power

The provisions on relative market power have now been in force in Switzerland for more than three years. What experiences and initial lessons have been gained with the new instrument in Switzerland, and what experiences have the German Federal Cartel Office and the Austrian Federal Competition Authority (BWB) had with relative market power?

In a DACH panel discussion, Dr Laura Melusine Baudenbacher, President of the Swiss Competition Commission (COMCO), Silke Hossenfelder, Head of General Policy Division at the German Competition Authority, and Dr Nora Schindler, Economist at the Austrian Federal Competition Authority, will share their experiences and discuss similarities and differences in their respective jurisdictions.

Dr Andrea Graber, Vice-Director of the COMCO Secretariat, and Dr Monique Sturny, Partner at Walder Wyss AG, will moderate the discussion.
