Uta Itzen

Uta is experienced in all aspects of German & European competition law, with a focus on cartels and follow-on litigation, as well as multi-jurisdictional merger control cases. She has acted in major cartel investigations by the European Commission and Germany's federal competition authority. She represents clients in litigation proceedings before national & European courts. Uta also oversees Freshfields' recruitment & HR responsibilities in Germany and Austria and advises on global HR strategy.
