Sophia Real

Competition Counsel in Google's EMEA Competition Team, based in Brussels. Before joining Google, Sophia spent more than 10 years working as a competition lawyer in private practice in London, Rome and Brussels, at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and then at Baker McKenzie, advising clients in relation to abuse of dominance and merger control cases. At Google, Sophia advises her internal clients on all aspects of competition law, with a particular focus on competition law issues in Germany.
