Séverine Bouvy joined CMS end of August. She specialises in data protection and new technologies, with a particular interest in intellectual property, life-sciences, privacy and information technology law. She assists clients active in various technology-related sectors. Séverine also gained experience as a senior lawyer at Eurofins where, among other things, she led the implementation of the GDPR within the company. She obtained a Master's degree in law at the Catholic university of Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL) and holds several additional LL.M. degrees, including in intellectual property and ICT from the K.U. Leuven (KUL- CiTiP). She also obtained a postgraduate degree in tax at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and a master degree in corporate law at the University of Cambridge (MCL).
