Sara graduated with a first class degree in molecular biology then followed by a fast-track law conversion course to complete her legal education. She qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales at the prestigious London law firm Slaughter and May and in 2009, moved to Brussels to focus on EU competition law at Howrey, then moving with the team to Shearman & Sterling. After seven years in private practice, Sara moved to DG COMP in 2016 to gain a deeper understanding of EU competition law.
