About:

Senior Competition Expert at the OECD Competition Division in Paris since 2013. She is responsible for Working Party 3 of the OECD’s Competition Committee, which focuses on enforcement and co-operation. Previously, she was in charge of the OECD-GVH Regional Centre for Competition in Budapest, which provides competition law training seminars to officials from East and South-East Europe. She also supports the Division on other projects. Sabine regularly lectures on vertical restraints at the Florence Competition Programme. Sabine previously spent over 20 years as a senior case manager at the German Bundeskartellamt. This provided her with extensive experience in merger control, cartel prosecution and abuse of dominance proceedings in a variety of industry sectors, from their inception to defence in courts. Sabine holds a MA in economics, and has over time developed a comprehensive knowledge of competition law.
