Ricardo Cardoso

Ricardo has over 15 years’ experience in the European Commission, in the area of competition enforcement. He is currently Deputy Head of Unit responsible for antitrust enforcement in the energy and environment sectors in DG COMP. Prior to this he worked for five years as the Commission spokesperson for competition, presenting and defending DG COMP’s work to the media. He holds an Economics degree from the LSE and an MA in European Studies from King’s College London.
