Dr. Reena das Nair

Senior Researcher, Centre for Competition, Regulation and Economic Development (CCRED); Programme Coordinator and Senior Lecturer in the Master of Commerce in Competition and Economic Regulation programme at the University of Johannesburg. Prior to joining CCRED, Reena was a Programme Manager: Industrial Policy at TIPS. She has also previously served as Principal Economist at the SA Competition Commission. Extensive experience in mergers, abuse of dominance & cartel cases. Provided training in S. Africa & other African countries. Has authored several publications in books & peer-reviewed journals. Holds PhD in Economics from the University of Johannesburg.
