I am Head of Competition and Regulatory Law at the BBC. Our team of fantastic competition lawyers works with colleagues across the BBC to ensure we are always working within the BBC's bespoke regulatory system and wider competition and public law parameters. We are also closely involved in far reaching strategic and policy development around the future shape of the BBC. I am part of the BBC's executive coaching team and also a regular panellist for the Centre for Legal Leadership.

I currently lead a small team of experienced competition lawyers sitting within the BBC General Counsel's Office. Prior to this, I held roles at both the Civil Aviation Authority and the (then) Office of Rail Regulation working on economic regulation and competition enforcement. I started my career as a consumer lawyer with Which? and the Office of Fair Trading transitioning in to competition law in the early 2000's.
