Yılmaz Aslan (PhD., Istanbul University Law Faculty; LL.M., LL.B., Ankara University Law Faculty) has been a member of the preparatory committee consisting from academicians during the legislation process of Turkey’s first regulation in the field of competition, The Act On The Protection of Competition (Act No: 4054), adopted in 1994. He has also served as the legal counsel for the head of Turkish Competition Authority from 1997 to 1999.
