I am the Manager, Buyer Power Department at the Competition Authority of Kenya. I pioneered the department in March 2019 and by September, 2022 had grown the area to a prominent component of competition enforcement in the Kenyan landscape. Prior to that, I worked in Academia both as a lecturer and researcher. My Doctoral research on goals of competition law, especially as they apply to developing economies informs my approach to enforcement.
