Petra Nemeckova

Member of the Legal Service, European Commission, in the State aid and anti-dumping team. She has represented the Commission in 100+ EU Court cases. In 2014, she also served as Cabinet Member for the Commissioner J. Almunia. A trained lawyer and economist, prior to the Commission, Petra practiced competition law at Arnold & Porter and Latham & Watkins, where she gained in-depth experience in merger control and antitrust. Frequent conference speaker and author in the State aid area.
