Penelope Papandropoulos

Head of Unit on Data Analysis and Technology at the European Commission's DG COMP. Until recently, member of Cabinet of the EVP Margrethe Vestager. PhD in economics, 20 years experience in competition, in consulting and at the DG COMP's Chief Economist Team. I worked on mergers, antitrust and then state aid, as Chief Economist Team coordinator. In 2014, I worked in the Cabinet of Commissioner Joaquin Almunia. I've been President of the Association of Competition Economists (ACE) and featured in ‘40 notable women competition professionals in their 40s' (competition economists).
