Council of State

Stagiaire aide à la décision at Council of State

5 mth • September 2020 - February 2021 • Paris , France

I did an internship at the Legal Research Department of the French Council of State. In particular, I worked in the Comparative Law Unit to which I gave my support in Spanish law. Thus, I was entrusted with research in this legal system in order to participate in the drafting of comparative law and European law notes requested by the members of the Litigation and Administrative Sections. I have also participated in the drafting of case law and doctrine synthesis disseminated within the administrative jurisdiction of France. During my internship I developed good analytical and synthesis skills. Thanks to my very good legal knowledge, I was able to bring an essential and very varied contribution in this field. In particular, through topics such as the powers of investigation of public administrations, the use of drones in the context of administrative police missions, the extradition process, the issue of the closure of theaters, museums and cinemas in the context of the Covid-19 health crisis or the concept of states of emergency.
