• As a part of ENTSO-E’s Market team, support 42 European Transmission System Operators in all areas related to the development of market mechanisms from market design elements to electricity market rules implementation. • Work on the integration of European markets for balancing energy and capacity with the goal to enhance the efficiency of the European electricity balancing processes and contribute to achieving the EU energy policy objectives (i.e., the EU 3rd Internal Energy Market Package and the Clean Energy Package). • Effectively collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts from the European TSOs, Regulatory agencies, and external consultants. • Manage projects as part of complex market design development and implementation programmes.

The MRP is expected to deliver over $800M in system-wide benefits to Ontario in the first 10 years. • Developed various electricity market design options and recommendations, such as the market power mitigation framework for the energy market and capacity auction. • Delivered technical position papers, presentations, stakeholder consultation materials, briefing notes, and external and internal market manuals. • Conducted in-depth research and analysis of the US, European and Canadian power markets and regulatory frameworks in order to provide advice as relevant to different aspects of the Ontario wholesale energy market, capacity auction and tariff rate design.
