Niamh Hodnett

Niamh Hodnett is Head of Regulatory Affairs with Three Ireland and has responsibility for all regulatory matters including electronic communications regulation, consumer law, competition law, cyber security and data protection. She works closely with her counterparts in other Three companies in the EU through the CK Hutchison Holdings Group, a renowned multinational conglomerate. Niamh qualified as a solicitor in 1998. Prior to joining Three, she was a Senior Legal Advisor with the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg). Niamh had previously worked in law firms Matheson in Dublin, Mayer Brown in Brussels and Allens in Sydney. She also previously worked in An Post as an inhouse lawyer. Niamh has been recommended and ranked in various legal guides for her expertise. She lectures at the Law Society of Ireland and is a member of the EU & International Affairs Committee of the Law society. Niamh has co-authored European Law published by Oxford University Press and Regulatory Law in Ireland published by Bloomsbury Publishing. She is also a qualified mediator and a member of the German & Irish Lawyers & Business Association.
