- Handling of antitrust and merger cases related to Activity. - Implementation of legal and economic analysis as a result of the cases mentioned above. - Managing procedural decisions in competition cases at the Unit, for instance, confidential information requests. - Preparation of explanatory notes for dawn-raids and carrying out dawn-raids at companies’ premises searching for evidence of unlawful behaviour. - Participation in international meetings and working groups related to Competition Enforcement (ECN Working Group on Mergers and ICN Working Group on Mergers). - Cooperation with National Competition Authorities in varied areas, as requests for information raised in the European Competition Network context (ECN), related to merger and antitrust cases handled by the Competition Division of the CNMC. Monitoring the implementation and compliance of the decisions and measures adopted by the Authority. - Coordinating the State and the regional governments’ shared functions regarding Competition Defence. -Receipt and processing of applications for total immunity from fines or a reduction of fines in competition cases. -Statement of disciplinary proceedings in respect of Competition. -Preparation of reports and studies as a result of processing records Cartels and applications for exemption and reduction of fines in Competition. -Representation of the Investigation Division at the European Commission services and in international forums with a predominance of English and French. - Participation in international meetings and Working Groups. - Participation in the preparation and inspection equipment business at the Comisión Española de Competencia and the DG COMP.
