Evelyn Austin

Evelyn Austin is the Executive Director of the European digital rights organisation Bits of Freedom. Bits of Freedom works to shape internet policy in support of an open and just society in which people can hold power accountable and effectively question the status quo. Austin has worked with Bits of Freedom since 2014 and at the intersection of technology and society for over 15 years. She previously co-founded The Hmm, a research platform for internet cultures.
