Elodie Vandenhende

Elodie has been Deputy Head of the Digital Economy unit at the French Autorité de la concurrence since 2021, having joined the Autorite in 2018 as a Special Advisor to the President. She previously worked at the cabinet of the Minister of Economy and Finance as advisor in charge of European affairs. In 2012, she moved on within the Ministry of Economy to lead the first cases on behalf of the French government against some of the largest companies in the digital economy for unfair trading practices. She started her career in private practice, specialising in competition law in the Washington DC, Brussels and London offices of Jones Day, including a secondment to the British Telecom Global Services in London in 2008. Elodie holds LL.M. in International Legal Studies from the American University Washington College of Law.
