Prof. Dr. Daniel Neu

Prof. Dr. Daniel Neu (MD, MHsc, PhD), ESRS certified somnologist – expert in sleep medicine, currently works at the Erasme Academic Hospital and is the Head of the ‘Center for the Study of Sleep Disorders’, the largest sleep center in Brussels, at the Neuroscience Department of the Delta Hospital CHIREC. In 2009 – 2020, he was the clinical head of the ‘Sleep Laboratory and Unit for Clinical Chronobiology’ at the Brugmann University Hospital (ULB). His general clinical practice and research cover most aspects of sleep-related disorders. Daniel also teaches and trains medical students and post-graduate physicians on sleep medicine. He has authored or co-authored over 65 peer-reviewed publications and performed over 120 written or oral scientific communications at international meetings. A half-German and half-Luxembourger with ‘Swiss blood’, Daniel moved to Brussels in 1995, to attend the medical school of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
