Claire Simpson

Scottish lawyer with 20 years of international experience in the fields of EU and tax law. She is currently working at the EFTA Surveillance Authority. A member of the London Bar, she was Group Head of Competition law at Euroclear. Her role in Euroclear covered a range of antitrust issues worldwide (in areas as diverse as blockchain, crowdfunding and international collateral management) and draws on Claire’s previous practice at Gray’s Inn Tax Chambers and experience in the European Court.
