Chris Prevett is Interim General Counsel at the UK Competition and Markets Authority. Prior to this, he was Senior Legal Director of Mergers, Markets and Sector Regulation at the CMA, responsible for overseeing legal advice across the portfolio, including associated litigation before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal and UK courts. Prior to joining the CMA in 2014, Chris was a senior lawyer in private practice with Travers Smith LLP and Slaughter and May, where he advised across a wide range of EU and UK merger and antitrust issues. He was also previously a Policy Adviser whilst on secondment at the UK Office of Fair Trading.
