Brenda Sufrin is a graduate of the University of Birmingham and qualified as a solicitor after articles with a firm in the City of London. She began her academic career as a Research Associate in the Institute of Judicial Administration at the University of Birmingham. She was appointed a Senior Lecturer in Bristol in 1993, Reader in 1995, and Professor in 2003. She taught Competition Law, European Union Law and Trusts and is the co-author of the highly acclaimed Jones & Sufrin's EU Competition Law.
