Bas Braeken

Bas is a partner at bureau Brandeis and leads the EU Competition law team. Bas has extensive experience in the field of competition and regulatory litigation, both before the civil and administrative courts. He has represented the association EU athletes and the iceskaters in the case that led to the landmark ISU judgment of the European Court of Justice. He is also heavily involved in complex merger control proceedings, including second phase merger proceedings as well as FDI-notifications.
