Antonia Sherman

Partner in the Antitrust & Foreign Investment Group of Linklaters LLP, based in Washington DC.  She is a graduate of Amherst College and Emory Law School. Antonia represents clients in merger and non-merger investigations before the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice. She provides advice on the antitrust aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other business arrangements, with a particular focus on complying with and obtaining merger clearances both under the U.S. Hart-Scott-Rodino Act and the laws of non-U.S. jurisdictions. She has broad experience with general commercial and antitrust litigation in state and federal courts. Antonia regularly advises large multinational corporations in sectors such as oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and industrial gasses. She also has extensive experience representing private equity firms on fund acquisitions and is recognized in Chambers USA and Legal 500. Antonia is licensed to practice law in New York and Washington D.C
