Dr. Alexis Walckiers

Director in the Brussels office of E.CA Economics. He was the Chief Economist of the Belgian Competition Authority between 2010 and 2020. Alexis holds degrees in philosophy and physics, as well as a PhD in economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where he teaches microeconomics. He has published a number of papers in competition and economic journals and served as the President of the Association of Competition Economists.
